AVV Millennium Calisthenics Club

Unlike gymnastics, calisthenics competitions are held in a theatre - participants perform routines choreographed to music, on stage with costumes and lighting.

Calisthenics is regarded as a team sport, but participants can also compete in Solo and Duo competitions. The Graceful Calisthenic Solo is aligned with aesthetic and balletic movement and is intended to enhance the soloist's poise and grace, flexibility, appearance and presentation and the ability to interpret music into dance. Best Type Solo and Duo sections have a greater emphasis on jazz and contemporary dance and incorporates more gymnastic and strength work.^

AVVMCC is a Championship/Division 1 Club, offering a range of classes all students an opportunity to compete at a high level whilst in a supporting and encouraging environment..

Tinies 1: Competitive - Ages 5 to 7 : $150 Per Term (10 weeks)

Sub-Juniors - Ages 8 to 10: $185 Per Term (10 weeks)

Juniors - Ages 11 to 13 : $220 Per Term (10 weeks)

Intermediates Ages 14 to 17 : $220 Per Term (10 weeks)

Seniors: - Ages 18+ $220 Per Term (10 weeks) or $37 per item (10 weeks)

Discount applies for 3 or more classes a week

3 classes per week 10% off term fees

4 classes per week 15% off term fees

5 or more classes per week 20% off term fees

All calisthenics members are required to pay a "once off" registration fee of $140 per year via Trybookings.
